What do I do?

I am currently a postdoc at Durham University. I finished my PhD in Physics (cosmology) with my supervisor Prof George Smoot in Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Cosmology is an exciting and a rapid developing subject - 60 years ago, cosmology was still a speculative science; in the modern day, cosmology has become a precise, quantifiable science. Apart from the ground breaking progress, there are still many open questions to be addressed with different methodologies.

Instead of expertising in some specific methodologies, my research style is more science focused. Every methodology has its strength in revealing some particular aspects of the science question, so my approach is:

Why not use all the methodologies and assess them on equal footing?
As a result, my research broadly uses theory, observations, simulation and instrumentation. Among all the interesting physical questions about our universe, I am more interested in answering questions that can be experimentally verified within a reach of 10 years. This essentially narrows down the range of scientific questions of interest.
